BRAND SPOTLIGHT: LINCOLN & YORK
Lincoln & York is one of Europe’s leading coffee manufacturers and the private label partner of choice for leading retailers, wholesalers and hospitality businesses across both the UK and Europe, with over 100 years’ experience in sourcing, roasting and packing.
What’s does your brand pride itself on?
We pride ourselves on our commitment to the highest possible standards across everything we do, from sourcing the best quality coffee to rigorous quality checks to make sure the products our customers receive are exactly as they would expect every time. We taste and quality check 150 cups of coffee a day through our tasting lab, and work closely with our customers to ensure we create their perfect blend.
Discretion is one of our core business values, so once we have perfected a customer’s blend we keep it a closely guarded secret. It means that while you’ve probably tried a Lincoln & York coffee you would never know it!
What critical problem does your product/business solve?
The coffee market is always rapidly changing and evolving, meaning it can be hard for operators to ensure they continue to deliver for their customers and drive growth. We address this by putting a strong emphasis on understanding the latest consumer trends. We have access to data for the entire coffee market across both OOH and retail, meaning we have our finger on the pulse on the latest trends in consumer behaviour and drivers of growth in the coffee channel, all of which we can use to help our customers to scale and grow.
This is reflected in our flexible approach, which means we offer a vast array of packaging formats, from 500kg bulk sacks and single serve sachets, to coffee bags, ESE and Nespresso compatible pods.
Whatever your requirements we’re on hand as your partner in coffee, whether you’re just starting out or expanding at scale.
What can we expect to see from you at ECS 2023?
At ECS we’ll be sharing the latest in our private label coffee offering. Whether you are looking for ground coffee or beans, we’ll be sharing our vast array of packaging formats, which includes 500kg bulk sacks, 1kg/500g/250g bags, 200-227g retail packs, single serve sachets, filter sachets, coffee bags, ESE and Nespresso compatible pods. Our team will also be on hand to share the latest industry leading insights, including market data, category insight and consumer trends in coffee.
What exciting new development can we expect from your brand in the near future?
We are always looking at ways we can support our customers with the latest innovations in coffee, whether that’s through tapping into new formats or developing products with functional benefits.
We have lots of exciting NPD on the horizon, including exploring RTD bottled and canned formats, bag in a box coffee and new products using coffee and tea extracts.
